Charlotte Carol Porter, age 76, of Monrovia California formerly of Richford Wisconsin, passed away March 11, 2023 at Harris Villa in Westfield surrounded by family.  Charlotte was born December 28, 1946 in Portage Wisconsin, the daughter of Martha (Beutler) Porter and Almon Porter of Rio, Wisconsin.  Her father passed away prior to her birth.  Charlotte spent her early years on her grandfather and grandmother, Gust and Louise (Klinger) Beutler and uncle Harold Beutler’s farm in Marquette County.

After her mother married Arnold F. Jennerman in 1953 Charlotte spent her growing up years at their farm in Richford Wisconsin.  She was a 1965 graduate of Westfield High School.  In 1968 she relocated to Los Angeles California where she was employed by the US Postal Service until her retirement in 2003.  She established many lifelong friendships.

Charlotte was a lifetime learner, always inquisitive with many diverse interests.  She approached every new experience and discovery with a sense of delight and wonder.  She pursued and researched her topics of interest maintaining detailed notes.

She was a loving supporter of our parents which was especially appreciated in their later years.  She treasured a wide circle of friends which she established over her lifetime and took great interest in maintaining these friendships over the years.  Charlotte was generous and would do anything she could for friends and family.

Charlotte was a tireless supporter and took great pride in her siblings and her nieces and nephews.  She was a dear sister and aunt and will be greatly missed by her family.

She is survived by her siblings, Arnie (Margie) Jennerman, Verona, Wisconsin; Janice (John) Kroone, Knob Knoster, Missouri; Joyce (Ed) Merz, Hudsonville, Michigan; nieces and nephews, Henry and Molly Jennerman, Jandy (Jody) Maher and their sons Barrett and Nolan, Jamie Kroone, Beth (Eric) Harmsen, and Rachel and Joshua Merz.  Further survived by other relatives and many friends.
