Beatrice Simenson

Beatrice E. Simenson, age 96, of Mount Morris, passed away early Wednesday morning, October 25, 2017 at her granddaughter’s home in Wautoma.

She was born October 16, 1921 in the Township of Oasis, Waushara County, the daughter of Alfred and Freda (Boelter) Heller. She married Leonard R. Simenson on December 13, 1942 in Dubuque, Iowa. He preceded her in death on October 23, 1991.

Beatrice and her late husband farmed for many years in the Town of Wautoma. Later, she worked at Copps Food Center in Wautoma and cleaned at Nordic Mountain Ski Hill. She was a member of Mount Morris Holden Lutheran Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Joan Sheets (Ralph), Corvallis, Montana; one son, Garold (Luanne) Simenson, Wautoma; eight grandchildren, Stephanie (Jeff) Mason, Rexanna Luebbert, Chenoa Smith, Troy “Ed” (Kerri) Lehman, Sheree (Sylvester “Sly”) Huck,  Dawn Belfeuil (Gaven), Gena (Tom) Rosenow, and Jeremiah “Bud” (Aimee) Simenson; two step grandchildren, Jill (Joe) Krempp, Gail (Jeff) Diotte; 13 great grandchildren, Douglas, Jessica, Melissa, Allen, Emily, Natalie, Gabriel, Colton, Taylor, Jadyn, Aleyna, Jody, and Peyton; seven step great- grandchildren, Kurtis, Jeff Jr., Jonathan, Austin, Braeden, Falyn, and Kimber; her twin sister, Bernice Anderson, Wild Rose. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter and son-in-law, Diane (Bruce) Lehman; infant great grandson, Sylvester Leonard Huck; two brothers and two sisters.

Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Morris Holden Lutheran Church with Rev. Barbara Girod officiating. Inurnment will be in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday at the Church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
