Alan Ervin Neitzke, age 75 of Wautoma passed away on Monday, November 20, 2023 at ThedaCare Hospital, Wild Rose. He was born in Milwaukee on November 14, 1948 to Ervin and Priscilla (Burton) Neitzke. After high school he attended UW Oshkosh and then went to work for American Can Company in Milwaukee. In April of 1978 he married Gail Kraegenbrink in Milwaukee. After retirement, the couple moved to Wautoma and bought a farm where Alan enjoyed the outdoors and fixing things around the farm. He was also an avid sports fan.

Alan is survived by his son: Anthony “Tony” Neitzke; daughters: Jennifer “Jen” (Rick) Reidelbach, Nicky (Todd) Sells; grandsons: Collin and Kyle; great granddaughter: Brooke; sister: Donna Griggs; niece: Heidi; nephew: Steve; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife: Gail Neitzke and brother-in-law: Jack Griggs.

The family will greet relatives and friends at Leikness Funeral Home, Wautoma on Saturday, December 16, 2023 from 10AM to 11AM. Funeral services will be held at Leikness Funeral Home on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 11AM.  Burial will take place in Maple Grove Cemetery, Wautoma at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be given to the American Diabetes Association.
